On our off days we got to spend time with our host families and each other, we tried to go to the beach and explore the island.
Some went to Manapany to enjoy the sun and see the fish within the bay.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

While others enjoyed the day hiking to the volcano, and getting a glimpse of the beautiful nature R\u00e9union island has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

On the weekend most of us met at a local market to see local food, drinks and products by local craftsmen.<\/p>\n<\/div>

On the same day the Indian community celebrated “Dipavali”, it was very interesting to not only learn more about R\u00e9union culture but also sub-cultures.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A few of us also went karting, explored different beaches & tasted different local food.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Overall we enjoyed each second, getting to know each other more and more we also grew closer as a group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
