That same day, after visiting the castle, we headed for our next destination: Highline 179, a spectacular suspension bridge in Reutte, Austria. It links the ruins of Ehrenberg Castle and Fort Claudia, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Austrian Alps. The footbridge is 406 meters long and stands some 113 meters above the ground. The bridge was inaugurated in 2014 and holds the Guinness World Record for the longest suspended pedestrian bridge.
